Givhans Ferry State park wedding renewal {Morales family}

 I have known Whitney and her family for at least 10 years now. Whitney messaged me and asked if I would take pictures at her renewal reception. Of course I agreed! She decided to have it at Givhans ferry state park. That is a beautiful park. Lots of trees and a river beach to swim at. Some people will put in to go tubing or canoeing. Lots of my friends love to go tubing on the Edisto river. I've been a few times, its a lot of fun!

 Whitney and Hectors story started at church, where they met. She was a single mother and when she first met Hector, they didn't care for each other very much. The Lord opened both their eyes and they saw each other through God's eyes. They knew from that moment they were meant to be. At the beginning they had a lot of opposition about them being together. When they said they wanted to get married not many people were for the idea. They knew it was right with God and they decided to elope. They had a simple ceremony at Washington square park. Since then everyone could see how perfect they are for each other. They compliment each other. Everyone always comments on how they act like teenagers in love. They love to give each other affection! Ever since her wedding day she always dreamed of having a wedding reception with family and friends. That day came on their 14 wedding anniversary.  The weather that evening was perfect, was a little warm but it is South Carolina in July.... She had the help and support of family and friends to pull off her dream day. You could just feel the love everyone had towards this couple. Whitney looked beautiful in her dress. It looked like it was made just for her. Hector pulled off his suspenders effortlessly. Their children (who keep growing up so fast) looked beautiful in their blue dresses. I remember when Maya (the youngest) was born! There was a few hiccups that evening but no one cared about that, everyone was focused on the couple and having a wonderful time! Whitney was able to dance with both her fathers, which was really sweet. Hectors mother couldn't dance so Whitney's mother stepped in for the mother and son dance. I thought that was really special. Hector had one brother missing from his family portraits, they weren't able to make it to their reception. All I can say is his parents had a lot of patience to raise a big family! Mom having 10 children... all I can say is "Wow"! They forgot the forks and plates for the wedding cake so they had it served on paper towels but really who cares? It was yummy! I was so honored to be apart of their celebration and I know they will have many more years of happiness! If anyone is looking for a health coach to show you how to eat better and have someone to motivate you Whitney would love to help you out! Never again
