Cassidy surprise proposal at Brittlebank Park SC

Most girls dream of this moment. Cassidy is no exception. She's been planning her wedding now for a while so when she asked me to be their wedding photographer I agreed! I asked her how did Josh propose to her? I wasn't expecting her next response... She wasn't engaged yet. She wanted to wait until she graduated before he popped the question. I had to laugh only Cassidy would say something like that. She had instructions that when he did propose she wanted her family to be there to see the moment. So Josh originally wanted to pop the question at one of the oldest trees in the east coast called The Angel Oak. Unfortunately they don't approve of professional photography there. People have tried and gotten run out. I didn't want her moment to be ruined. So I threw out some other places we could go. Her mom said we would go to Hampton Park. I've photographed there quite a bit so I knew it would be great. I arrived there at the same time as another family friend. I called her mom and said where are you? She said by the pier. I thought there's no pier maybe she meant the bridge. I said we were by the pond. Tina said pond? Then the sinking feeling came true. We weren't at the same location! Tina was actually setting up at Brittlebank park just down the road. She thought it was the same place. So we all left and went to Brittlebank park. Josh had taken Cassidy to lunch at California Dreamin and took her to a few stores downtown. They had her sister call to tell her to pick up her dog at the park. Her sister has the "sister" dog and took bought dogs to the park. Once they got Cassidy to the park, they took a walk down the path so when they turned the curve everyone would be under the oak tree with a sign. Josh got down on one knee She said Yes and was really excited. Cassidy had a eventful weekend! Friday was her birthday, Saturday she graduated and Sunday Josh proposed!
